Canadian Twins, Dean and Dan Caten have taken the fashion world by storm with their high class and glamorous range of fashion for men and women. Born in Canada but with strong Italian roots, the twin brothers were always drawn to the world of fashion and moved to New York to study fashion design upon leaving school.
From there they moved to Italy to work for the up and coming Diesel premium denim brand. Their designs and inspiration helped Diesel become the hottest jeans brand worldwide. With a huge amount of encouragement from Rene Russo, the owner of Diesel, the brothers made the next logical step and created their own fashion label – DSquared2. A premium brand from the start, with an emphasis on high end denim, the brand was first seen only in the finest independent boutiques but soon had department stores and other fashion shops clamouring to stock the brand.
The most recent release for the label in conjunction with Marcolin is the DSquared2 sunglasses collection. DSquared2 sunglasses are the hot new brand within the competitive eyewear market, demonstrating an urban, hip hop style with roots in 70’s fashion.
